Ascott Star Rewards: Book Stay: travel and hotel booking app

Ascott Star Rewards: Book Stay is a travel and local app by The Ascott Limited that lets members of the Ascott Star Rewards loyalty programme find, book and manage accommodation. The app addresses the hassle of juggling multiple booking sites and loyalty details by letting travelers search more than 400 participating properties across 14 brands in over 120 cities, all in one place. It also centralises account management, showing tier status, point balance and booking history, and it includes tools like mobile check-in, mobile check-out and in-stay requests to reduce front-desk interactions. With vouchers purchasable using points, reminders for unfinished bookings and a built-in chat, the app tries to make direct booking straightforward for both business and leisure trips.

Recent updates · 10.8

Version 10.8 introduces a redesigned interface and a smoother booking flow. Users can now purchase vouchers with points, receive reminders for unfinished bookings, and share preferred properties more easily.

This app suits travelers who are already part of the Ascott Star Rewards programme, as well as business and leisure guests who regularly stay at brands such as Ascott, Citadines, Somerset, Oakwood and Quest. It is also a good fit for anyone who prefers to book directly and manage reservations, check-ins and loyalty points from one app. New users who are not yet ASR members can sign up inside the app, so first-time guests wanting easy access to rewards can benefit too.

Sign up for ASR membership through the app before your first stay so you start earning points right away, and make use of the booking reminders to catch any unfinished reservations.

Overall, the app is a practical companion for frequent Ascott Star Rewards guests who want booking and loyalty management on the go. It covers a wide property network, but the broad permission requests and average user rating are worth considering before installing.
